Going out: The Garden (and Terrace) Edit - part 2: Lighting and Accessories. [ 30 items that will compliment any minimalist style ].

Though our garden now looks more like a building site, I do hope things soon get back to normal. Time to go out! And to choose new furniture and accessories for the outdoor space.

Here is the round-up of items that caught my eye this season. All of the items are of my favorite “style”: lost somewhere between Nordic and Japanese layered and habitable minimalism.

For preview images, I chose all items in neutral colors, but a lot of them are available in many other colors. Items are arranged by category and most of them can be easily mixed together to create a laid-back and effortless outdoor space look.

Although I love simple lines and forms, a space decorated exclusively with such lines can appear cold and unwelcoming - that's why I always remind myself to add soft textiles, natural irregular shapes (plants in the garden/on your terrace can fulfill this role and such designs as Speckle Plants Pot by ferm Living in this list), and diverse textures to give depth and warmth to the composition.
