Wellness Day at SoLebIch Apartment in Munich. And why mention it in a “lost somewhere between Nordic & Japanese warm minimalism” blog?
[ AD - event invitation: I was invited to this event and got some PR gifts from partner brands, but I wasn’t asked to write this post and all the words and thoughts are my own ].
Back when I used to work in marketing for large international IT corporations, I was accustomed to being invited to various industry-related events. Most of them were massive conferences, others were smaller "round-table" discussions. However, regardless of the event size, I always felt physically and mentally exhausted after spending several hours there (which is why I didn't particularly enjoy them).
On Saturday, I had the opportunity to attend a different type of event, thanks to an invitation from Solebich.de:
Relaxing and at the same time energizing atmosphere (yes, it's possible), with inspiring people around who love what they do—what could be better?
Now, imagine receiving an individual sleep consultation from a professional, followed by relaxation in one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Got it from COCO-MAT.
How about enjoying super tasty and healthy Greek snacks and desserts (I personally love Greek cuisine!), cooked and beautifully served by Physi.
Revitalizing eye treatment from an expert (using organic natural cosmetics) or a day makeup? Dr.Hauschka experts were there.
Small talks with people who share your passions? Feel free to help yourself - a lot of them are in the same room as you.
…and all this with a glass of refreshing “Bergtee” and then a bottle of 100% natural mandarin juice in your hand.
What can I say - that was the kind of event I truly enjoyed :) but why write about it here, in a “lost somewhere between Nordic & Japanese warm minimalism” blog?
Well, the answer is simple - because of the shared values. Both Nordic and Japanese cultures, as well as their interior and design styles, always gravitate towards the following:
Balance (emphasizing the importance of basic elements in our lives, such as good sleep, good food, and good self-care in this case)
Quality (the quality of elements mentioned above)
Nature (or natural materials and ingredients).
So, even though this post is not specifically about Nordic or Japanese interior styles or design, I believe it belongs here - as the first post in the Lifestyle part of my blog.
